Live a fuller, deeper life with agency and integrity— rather than one shaped by habit, fear, and avoidance.

Therapy and counseling for adults of all ages— old souls who are young at heart— looking for more authenticity, connection, and depth in their lives.

My most aligned clients are:

✓ Wicked smart, engaged, thoughtful, and caring— and they have a great sense of humor!

✓ Deep-divers, open to new ideas, ever-curious.

✓ Suckers for metaphor, story & myth, because they know from experience life gets more interesting when we make meaning of this adventure called Life.

✓ Passionate about social justice & advocacy.

✓ Able to see me as a human being, and can appreciate that I’m a real person.

✓ Diverse in their opinions and perspectives, driven by curiosity and interest in learning.

✓ A little (or a lot) perfectionistic with a high level of internal criticism.

Navigate existential and identity crisis

Figuring out who we are in this life can be challenging. We’re often torn between conforming to other peoples’ ideas about who we are or who should be, and what feels most authentic and aligned on the inside.

Whether you’re struggling to make sense of personal trauma, the chaos and absurdity of modern life, navigate a life change, or integrate different parts of yourself, you’re in the right place.

Establish healthy personal boundaries

We’re best able to show up for others when we show up for ourselves. I’m a fan of Prentis Hemphill’s definition of boundaries: “the distance at which I can love you and me simultaneously.”

If you find yourself repeatedly saying yes when your heart/mind/body is saying no, let’s talk. There’s a balance to be found between fulfilling our chosen (and unchosen) obligations and self-sacrifice or people-pleasing.

Grow without self-criticism

Be the best version of yourself without resorting to perfectionism, self-criticism, or people-pleasing. Many of us (myself included) have an overzealous inner critic. I help people befriend the critic, and cultivate a compassionate inner coach. I believe we can be self-compassionate and accountable; that we cannot punish ourselves into goodness.

Feel all your feelings

Get off the hamster wheel of self-sabotage, numbing and avoiding. In a culture that over-values positivity, we believe that there’s no place for our difficult feelings like grief, hurt, anger, despair, confusion, and isolation. These feelings often get pushed aside, ignored, or numbed, creating symptoms of anxiety and depression.

I believe ALL of our feelings are valuable messengers. I help people attend to these experiences while making more room for joy, connection, hope, and belonging.

Nurture meaning and purpose

I’m passionate about helping you develop your intuition and inner wisdom. I want you to be able to trust yourself to make the choices that are healthy and fulfilling for you, while staying in right relationship with the important people in your life. So often we’re steered away from our own knowing—I’ll help you reconnect with yourself and a sense of spirit that is meaningful and personal.
